Our Mission
Eswatini Hits is dedicated to showcasing and promoting the best music from the Kingdom of Eswatini. We are a complete music platform, not a basic open streamer, where fans discover charts, albums, videos, and upcoming releases, and artists publish through a dedicated Artist Portal.
Our mission is to elevate Eswatini’s music industry with fair tools for creators, transparent listening data, and a listening experience built for local music first.
How listening works
- You can browse the catalog without an account.
- Streaming requires a free signed-in account (email verification after signup). Guests cannot play audio.
- Free listening may include ads that help fund artist royalties.
- Offline downloads require an active listener subscription and are available in the Android app. They are not included for every free account.
- Seeking through a song (or tapping a synced lyric line to jump) is a subscriber feature. Every signed-in account can play, pause, and skip.
- Accounts registered as under 18 have explicit tracks filtered out automatically across charts, recommendations, search, and playback.

Artists upload songs and albums, manage releases, set credits and splits, and view analytics at artist.eswatinihits.co.za.
Charts with movement
Song and artist charts for today, this week, this month, this year, and all time. Every entry shows whether it is new, climbing, falling, or holding, with places moved and its previous position.
Android app
Background playback with lock-screen controls, offline downloads for subscribers, offline browsing when your connection drops, and links from our website that open straight in the app.
Time-synced lyrics
Many songs show line-by-line lyrics that scroll and highlight as the track plays, on both web and Android, and subscribers can tap a line to jump to that moment. Songs without a synced file still show full lyric text. To give fans accurate words, we work directly with artists and record labels on credits, featured artists, and lyric text.
Identify a song by sound
Hear an Eswatini song playing somewhere? Record a short clip and our audio fingerprinting matches it against the catalog, on the website and in the app.
Recommendations that learn
A Recommended For You row on Home, similar tracks for any song, and auto-play that keeps the music going with related songs when your queue runs out.
Your listening data
Listening stats for any period, an annual Year in Review, and emailed weekly and monthly Top 10 charts plus a monthly recap of what you played.
Articles & news
Our Articles section covers news and stories from Eswatini, including artist spotlights, releases, culture, and what is happening in the local music scene.
Library & community
Likes, public or private playlists, followed artists with a feed of their songs you have not heard yet, friends and what they are listening to, comments, and notifications.
Built for artists too
The Artist Portal at artist.eswatinihits.co.za is a full release desk, not an upload box. Artists submit songs and albums with complete metadata, set main, featured, and unregistered credits with splits, upload cover art and lyrics, request lyric syncing so their track gets scrolling lyrics in the player, add YouTube videos, and schedule release dates on paid plans.
Every upload is checked against the catalog with audio fingerprinting to catch duplicates, and analysed for characteristics such as tempo, key, and energy. Artists then track moderation status and see streams, unique listeners, downloads, page visits, followers, listener geography, and top songs, with a weekly performance email and CSV export.
Record labels can apply for their own account, invite artists to their roster, and handle exit requests. Streams only count toward charts and royalty points after about 45 seconds of listening, and once per listener per song per day, so the numbers artists see reflect real listening.
